Save the date! The women of Christ Church Cathedral will gather for our annual retreat February 7-8, 2026 at Montgomery Bell State Park. Varina Willse, writer and fellow CCC parishioner, will lead us, exploring the theme of Groundswell: Experiencing the Ground of Our Being. Inverting the common notion of God as “above” us, we instead will explore all the potent and invigorating ways God is “beneath,” engaging with such metaphors as cornerstone, roots, seeds, and wind. In addition to regular cycles of prayer, activities on offer will include grounding yoga and a grounding walk, contemplative prayer and small group discussion, warming through food and fire plus plenty of soul-filling social time. 

The retreat will begin Saturday morning and conclude with worship Sunday morning. For those desiring an extra evening of fellowship and rest, Friday night accommodations are available as an add-on.
