Christ Church Cathedral has a full range of Christian formation classes that run primarily from September through May. Classes for adults are held on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and occasionally at weekend symposia. Formation for children and youth is continuous throughout the school year. Special intergenerational events also take place during the year.

Youth classes are held on Sunday mornings, and EYC social opportunities are held monthly. In addition to formation and fun, serving and learning through mission opportunities locally, in other cities, and at Amistad Mission in Bolivia are a transformative piece of our program. One way we like to think of our youth community is a place to have fun, a place to belong and a place to learn more about God and your neighbor and who you are called to be in the midst.

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program is our Sunday morning offering for children 3 years through fifth grade. Throughout the year there are also independent, liturgically based, offerings made available to our children, their families, and to the parish as a whole. Advent wreath-making begins our liturgical year and we end with an exciting time for all at Vacation Bible School in June.

Our Nursery and Toddler Atrium program is offered on Sunday mornings for children 6 weeks through *3 years (*three year olds who are not yet potty trained). The Nursery program offers a safe, nurturing space for children to play and listen to stories. The Toddler Atrium is a new, beautiful space that we have opened in 2022. It is an extension of our Nursery program, yet is meant to introduce our littlest ones to our Montessori-based Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program.
