Eucharistic Visitor Ministry

Mission:
To serve Christ in all persons, caring for our elders, those in need, and those unable to attend Sunday worship.

Time Commitment:
1-2 hours every 4-8 weeks; Eucharistic visits happen on Sundays after morning liturgies, and midweek as needed.

Benefits from volunteering:
On behalf of the congregation, you are sharing the body and blood of Christ with those who need it most—the elderly, the lonely, the sick. These visits are meaningful and appreciated!

What's included?
Participating in a one-hour training session with the chairperson of the Eucharistic Visitor ministry. Receiving an assignment every 4-8 weeks to take communion to someone at home, in a facility, or in the hospital who is unable to attend worship services in person. Communicating with the chairperson and/or clergy about issues/needs that may arise during the visit.
