Mission:
The Church in the Yard provides Holy Eucharist and a meal to those homeless and needy people in the downtown area.

Time commitment:
Fourth Sunday of the month at Church of the Holy Trinity.

It is a wonderful opportunity to reach out to those that suffer in many ways.

What's included?
Serving approximately 100 meals to the hungry and those experiencing homelessness at the Church of the Holy Trinity every first Sunday of the month. The volunteers join their guests for Holy Eucharist before serving lunch. The service begins at 1:00 p.m. and typically lasts until 1:30 p.m. Casseroles are prepared at home and brought to the church. They are heated up along with sides during the service and served just after. The program usually finishes by 2:30 p.m. More volunteers are needed.
