“The more genuine and the deeper our community becomes, the more will everything else between us recede, the more clearly and purely will Jesus Christ and his work become the one and only thing that is vital between us.”
- Dietrich Bonhoeffer

Christ Church Cathedral has stood in the heart of downtown Nashville for generations, drawing worshipers from all over the city who come together as members of the Body of Christ. In addition to weekday and Sunday worship, there are numerous opportunities to gather for fellowship as a parish and in small groups. The following ministries help nurture bonds of friendship among parishioners of all ages and backgrounds.

Young Adults

To learn about events and gatherings, please join the Cathedral’s Young Adult Facebook page or, for more information, contact the Rev. Madeleine Rebouché.

Men’s Ministry

The men of the parish are invited for monthly breakfast and a talk from one of the men in the parish.  For more information, please contact Shelton Clark.

Women’s Ministry

Through the year, women of Christ Church Cathedral gather for fellowship, study, and retreat. The women of Christ Church Cathedral host an annual weekend gathering away from the church to care for and encourage their connections with God, each other, their loved ones, and the communities where they live and work. They come together as women to consider the unique nature and needs of a woman's divinity.  They make this gathering away from the hustle and bustle of their daily lives as a way of following Jesus’s effective practices for discipleship. Christ calls us to gather with friends to consider, discuss, and celebrate our relationship with God. The hope is that each woman who attends will be made new through engaging with each other, the gospel, natural surroundings, and the Eucharist; and that each will return with a renewed commitment to nurture, nourish, and serve.  To learn more, please contact Katy Sheesley.

Neighborhood Gatherings

Christ Church parishioners are drawn from all over Davidson County and from each neighboring county. A few times a year, therefore, members of the congregation are invited to gatherings with others in their own geographic area. For more information, please contact Terri Edwards.
