Nursery and Toddler Atrium

Mission of the Nursery Program:
To provide a safe, caring environment for children to play interactively, read stories, and work with developmentally appropriate activities that encourage creativity and love of God and creation.

Mission of our Toddler Atrium Program: This is an ever-growing extension of the Nursery Program, meant to begin to introduce our littlest ones to the Montessori-based Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program that they will move into as they get older.

Time Commitment:
Your choice, one, a few, or all Sunday mornings a month.

Benefits from volunteering:
Caring for and growing with our youngest and most precious children. Reading, praying, playing, and wondering about God’s gifts, sharing the love and comfort of Jesus with the littlest in our midst.

What's included?
In collaboration with Canon Friedman and nursery staff, Nursery and Toddler Atrium volunteers are offered times to serve when they are needed on Sunday mornings (to supplement our staff team). Volunteers will have an orientation and introduction to our spaces and our best practices for the safety, health, and wellness of our children.
