We hope that everyone who comes through our doors will find ways to connect with others at the Cathedral.
As you consider whether you wish to call the Cathedral your church home, here are some things we recommend:
- Meet with a member of our clergy.
- Attend worship and figure out which service is right for you.
- Attend a newcomer brunch.
- Attend Adult formation offerings on Sunday mornings at 10am.
- Volunteer as a Greeter or Usher on a Sunday morning.
- Serve alongside other congregants to love our neighbors.
- If your schedule allows, join a book club, supper club, Bible study, young adults group, or men’s or women’s fellowship.
- Start to make a regular financial offering.
- Tell your friends about the Cathedral!

Ready for membership?
When you are ready to call the Cathedral your church home, please reach out to our Dean and Rector. If you are baptized, you can become a member of the Cathedral. If you were a member at another Episcopal Church, we will ask to transfer your records. If you are neither baptized nor a member of another Episcopal Church, and you want to be eligible to vote and serve on our elected council (vestry), you’ll need to take our Journey in Faith class and be baptized, confirmed, or received from another tradition by the Bishop (if you were confirmed in that tradition).

Once you are a member, we hope you will:
- Continue to attend worship regularly.
- Continue to attend Adult Formation classes on Sunday mornings at 10am.
- Volunteer in more substantial ways with our worship ministries.
- Take a leadership role in our volunteer opportunities.
- Join a book club, supper club, Bible study, young adults group or men’s or women’s fellowship.
- Make an annual financial promise of at least 1% of your income.
- Continue to tell your friends about the Cathedral!
