We care for each other at the Cathedral when we share God’s love. We do this by holding worship services at several retirement and care communities; delivering communion to those who are homebound; acknowledging the joy of births and the grief of deaths through gifts and cards; and regularly praying for each other. If you feel called to one of these ministries, let us know!
Bereavement Team
This team helps at funeral reception as a ministry to those who mourn and we would love for you to join us! . Please contact Rev. Deacon Mary McCarthy
Feed My Sheep
This ministry is about caring for people at the Cathedral by providing them with food during a hard time. Our freezer is stocked with soups that our clergy and lay Eucharistic visitors can take to people who need it. If you would like to cook for this ministry, please let us know!.

Healing Prayer
Every Sunday during our primary morning services we offer prayers for healing of body, mind, and spirit in the Chapel during communion. These trained lay intercessors will pray with you after you take communion, if you would like.
Prayer requests
If you would like to submit your name or the name of someone in your life for prayers, please email our Pastoral Care Coordinator the Rev. Deacon Mary McCarthy
Lay Eucharistic Visitors
We send lay Eucharistic visitors to medical and home settings to offer Communion and fellowship to parishioners who may be unable to attend worship due to health issues, family matters, and the like. We are grateful to this dedicated, trained team!

Prayer List
We have a public prayer list that is included in our Sunday and weekday worship (using first names only to protect your privacy as all our worship materials are posted online). The clergy also have a more private prayer list. If you would like to submit your name or the name of someone in your life for prayers, please email our Pastoral Care Coordinator the Rev. Deacon Mary McCarthy

Recovery Ministries
The Cathedral offers several ways for your faith to support your sobriety. The “Many Paths” Recovery Ministry meets on Zoom on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m. and on Sunday mornings at 8 a.m. For more information please email the Associate Rector for Evangelism and Parish Life the Rev. Richard Wineland.
Thinking of You Ministry
We send cards to people who are grieving a loss, including the loss of a pet, and people who are celebrating a significant birthday. We also deliver flowering plants to people at Christmas as a sign of God’s love. This is a great ministry to be part of!
