Ministries

Adult Education

We offer ways for adults of all ages to be curious in love through classes that engage us spiritually and intellectually, no matter our station in life or faith journey. Come, bring your questions and doubts, and your open minds and hearts!

Children & Youth

We invite our children and youth to wonder in love about God’s goodness. From infants to high-schoolers, we offer comprehensive formation opportunities in the classroom, in worship, and through service at the Cathedral and in the city. There is place for your children here at the Cathedral!

Parish Life

In our life together as a parish, we connect in love over meals, through prayer and book studies, gathering for retreats and picnics, in affinity groups like our LGBTQ+ Faith Alliance, and by welcoming newcomers. We’d love to have you join us! Check our Events to confirm dates and times.

Pastoral Care

We care for each other at the Cathedral when we share God’s love. We do this by holding worship services at several retirement and care communities; delivering communion to those who are homebound; acknowledging the joy of births and the grief of deaths through gifts and cards; and regularly praying for each other. If you feel called to one of these ministries, let us know!

Serve & Engage

We act in love when we serve Christ in all persons by engaging in our community through volunteering, building relationships with historically Black churches, advocating for social change in Nashville, caring for all God’s creation, and donating 10% of giving to the Cathedral to non-profit groups. Join us as we serve and engage in our community!

Worship & Music

Our regular Sunday morning worship and our special liturgies and concerts invite us to use all our senses to know that God is love. From our prayers, our preaching, our music, and our Holy Eucharist, we celebrate God’s love for all of us in forms that are traditional and contemporary. There are lots of ways for you to be involved!

Young Adults

Join our young adults (in their 20s-30s) when they meet every other week on Wednesday evenings for friendship, community, and study at Theology on Tap! Check our Events for our upcoming meeting time and location.
