The Cathedral Choir, under the direction of Canon Michael Velting, will sing Solemn Choral Evensong on Sunday, February 22, starting at 4:00 PM. Join us for glorious music, prayers, and incense, as together we start down the path of reflection and repentance during the 40 days of Lent.
Choral Evensong will be preceded at 3:30 PM by an organ concert by Edie Johnson, organist of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Knoxville.
Both the concert and Choral Evensong are free and open to the public. There will be a reception following. Parking is available in the Cathedral Lot A and in the Southern Baptist Parking deck on 9th Ave. N.
