This summer, middle school youth and friends (rising 6th graders through 8th graders) are invited to participate in a week of service and fun right here in Nashville. Throughout the week, we will serve with some local organizations to practice loving our neighbors and to learn more about the needs of the city we call home. We will also spend time each day playing and exploring together! More details about timing and location will be provided closer to the dates, but plan on meeting us at CCC each morning at 9:00 AM and then finishing up the day in the mid-to-late afternoon.

High School Youth Week (Becoming Beloved Community), June 22-26.
This summer, high school youth and friends (rising 9th graders through 12th graders) are invited to participate in a week of learning and formation as we continue to live into our call to love our neighbors. We will use the Episcopal Church’s “Becoming Beloved Community” framework to learn about the history of racial injustice in our local church and our city, focus on Nashville’s rich civil rights legacy and racial justice efforts, and think through how we are called to respond, repair, and restore our community as followers of Jesus.
We will convene at CCC each morning at 9:00 AM, and then head out to visit some historic sites and congregations and businesses with Nashville Sites tours, meet some local leaders in the civil rights and racial reconciliation spaces, and do some good eating and talking and praying and playing together along the way, too. We’ll finish up in the mid-to-late afternoon each day, though exact timing will vary based on where we are and what we are doing.
