TATE BALL: Tate and his wife, Brook, joined Christ Church Cathedral when they moved to Nashville in 2019 and were married in the Cathedral the following year. They live in the West End area with their two dogs and 4-year-old son, Jackson. Tate grew up in Knoxville, attended the McCallie School in Chattanooga, and graduated from UCLA and the University of Tennessee College of Law. He spent five years litigating consumer and antitrust cases at the Tennessee Attorney General’s Office before joining the Tennessee Department of Education in Fall 2024, where he now serves as Associate Counsel for Special Education. Outside of work, Tate is an active mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee, and his primary ministry at the Cathedral is with Room in the Inn, where he volunteers as an innkeeper. He’s proud to play a role in one of the many ways the Cathedral walks the walk and lives out God’s love in downtown Nashville.
STRATTON GLAZE: Stratton grew up in Memphis, TN andTallahassee, FL and was confirmed in the United Methodist Church where he attended and served during and after college, as a leader in the Youth Ministry and eventually as an administrator on staff for a new church plant. He then began a
career as an information architect, designing websites and digital initiatives for a variety of corporate, non-profit, and ministry organizations. He is currently working with the Presiding Bishop’s communications team on a new version of The Episcopal Church’s national website and has spent the last year talking to people from a variety of roles in the Episcopal Church about what they want the website to reflect to the world. Midway through his career, Stratton took three years away to study theology at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena and earned his Master of Divinity degree. He went on to help friends plant a new church in Los Angeles, where he met his wife Brynn in 2021. Brynn and Stratton decided to join the Episcopal Church a year later and were both confirmed at All Saints Beverly Hills. After moving to Nashville, they joined Christ Church Cathedral, where Stratton serves on the Adult Formation Advisory Committee and will be a Journey in Faith leader this coming year.
PAMELA CLAYBAKER: Pam Claybaker is a cradle Episcopalian who, after some exploring, found herself drawn back into the Episcopal tradition and Christ Church Cathedral, in particular, in the 2010s. Pam cherishes the safety at Christ Church to question, doubt, and engage in honest reflection with fellow parishioners and clergy. Pam was raised in Nashville and other than undergraduate study in Alabama at Birmingham-Southern College, Nashville has remained her home. Pam serves as a lector and a volunteer with Church in the Yard and Room in the Inn. She participates in study and travel as part of the Isaac Ministry on Race and Faith and volunteers alongside St Anselm’s 4M. Pam is a longtime licensed veterinary medical technician (LVMT) as well as an adjunct instructor in health sciences at Nashville State Community College. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, an A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology, and an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction. Pam is happy to call herself “semi-retired” with time to offer herself in service as a vestry member for your consideration.
BRIAN JACKSON: A native of Maury County, Brian grew up there and in Houston, TX, where he was confirmed in the Episcopal Church in 1985. He has been a member of Christ Church Cathedral since 2012. Brian is a graduate of the University of the South (Sewanee) and Vanderbilt University Law School and has practiced law in Nashville since 1992, most recently as a partner at Butler Snow. At the Cathedral, he has served as a lay reader for more than ten years and was previously a eucharistic minister. A committed community volunteer, he has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including Travellers Rest Historic House and Museum, the Nashville Opera, and Nashville CARES. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of the South and a Director of the Butler Snow Foundation. His spouse of 28 years, Roger Moore, is a professor at Vanderbilt and longtime Christ Church parishioner.
MICHAEL JONES: Michael Jones has attended Christ Church Cathedral with his family since 2020. He enjoys being involved in parish life as a lay eucharistic minister and a lector, and his three children—all of whom have been baptized at the Cathedral—are joyful participants in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. His past experience serving organizations at a board level includes a stint as Secretary to the Vestry at St. John’s Church, Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C. (2013-2016) and several years as Board Chair of The Branch of Nashville (2019-2025), an organization that focuses on food relief and support for immigrant communities in South Nashville. After graduating from The University of Tennessee and spending several years working in Washington, D.C., he returned to his native Nashville and founded Boulevard Money, a comprehensive wealth management firm. He lives in Nashville with his wife, Allison D’Aurora, and their three sons Vincent, Raymond, and Joseph.
CAROLINE ROSSINI: Caroline is a nearly-lifelong Episcopalian and nearly-native Nashvillian who came to Christ Church Cathedral in 2009 as youth minister. She later served as co-director of Camp Gailor-Maxon, an Episcopal summer camp in Monteagle, Tennessee. Caroline brings nearly two decades of nonprofit leadership experience, including in finance, operations, and board leadership. She currently serves as Interim Executive Director at the Rotary Club of Nashville. At the Cathedral, she served as sacristan for several years and is currently coordinating the 2026 Women’s Retreat. In 2015, Caroline helped envision and launch a Sunday evening worship service for the Cathedral: BreakingBread@6. Over the years, she has also been involved with Journey in Faith, Room in the Inn, Scripture Saints & Song, Vacation Bible School, Young Adults, and Discovery Weekend. Caroline served on the Vestry from 2016-2019 (Junior Warden, 2018-2019) and was appointed as Vestry Clerk from 2020-2024.
CATHERINE SAWYER: Catherine Sawyer is a lifelong Episcopalian. She grew up actively involved in the community of St. Timothy’s in Signal Mountain, Tennessee before moving to Nashville. While attending Vanderbilt, Catherine worked as a youth ministry intern at St. George’s and stayed on as an active volunteer in the youth program following graduation. She transitioned to membership at the Cathedral in 2007. Catherine has taught Sunday school and volunteered in the youth program, served a term on the Youth Advisory Committee, and served on the search committee that called Serena Sides as Dean and Rector. In the greater Episcopal Church community, Catherine volunteered for many years for youth programs at Kanuga Conference Center. Catherine is married to her husband Trone and together they are the proud and busy parents of Charlotte (13) and Millie (10). Catherine serves as the Director of College Counseling at Christ Presbyterian Academy where she treasures the opportunity to shepherd emerging adults.
SHERI SELLMEYER: Sheri Sellmeyer is a lifelong Episcopalian who joined Christ Church Cathedral in 2000. She is chair of the Outreach Commission, serves as a eucharistic minister, and volunteers with the Urban Bicycle Food Ministry. She also chairs the board of the Family Reconciliation Center, a guest house for people visiting their loved ones who are incarcerated, and teaches ESL at Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Sheri worked as a journalist for many years and moved to Nashville with her husband Barry to work for a healthcare research company. She grew up in Lubbock, TX, and lived in Austin, TX, and Gastonia, NC, before moving to Tennessee. She enjoys writing profiles about Nashville immigrants for her blog, nashville4all, as well as hiking, traveling, playing the ukelele, and reading. She and her husband have mentored refugees from West Africa; among them are the parents of her goddaughter, a junior chorister, and other godchildren who have attended Sunday school and Episcopal Youth Community.
JEFF TEAGUE: Jeff Teague is a native Tennessean who grew up in the Presbyterian Church and after graduating from the University of Tennessee, moved to Washington, D.C. and attended St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. He moved to Nashville in 2000 and began attending Christ Church Cathedral, and was confirmed in 2003. During the pandemic he felt the call to be more active in the church community and was asked to be a facilitator for the Adult Formation class “The After Party: Toward Better Christian Politics” in the fall of 2024. Jeff is a leader for the Journey in Faith class and a member of the current Vocational Discernment Committee. Professionally, Jeff is an experienced nonprofit executive and consultant. After a long career in government, he is now the Chief Development Officer of a residential rehabilitation facility for women recovering from addiction and was appointed by Mayor Freddie O’Connell to the Metro Human Relations Commission. Jeff is a voracious reader, an avid hiker, and a rabid UT fan, as well as the primary caregiver for his mother (an ordained Presbyterian elder) and a godfather to six.
JOSEPH WATSON: Joseph and his wife, Mary Miller, joined the Cathedral when they moved to Nashville in July 2022. Since then, he has served as an usher and lay eucharistic minister at the 11:15 AM service and as a historical researcher for the Isaac Ministry on Race and Faith. He was also co-chair (with Mary and Anna Grimes) of the 2025 and 2026 Pledge Drives, which has expanded his perspective on the financial concerns of the Cathedral. Joseph teaches architectural history at Belmont University; his scholarship explores modern architecture in the Southern U.S. He serves on and has chaired several committees at Belmont and the Southeast Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians. Joseph was received into the Episcopal Church at St. Thomas, 5th Avenue, New York, and previously attended St. Mark’s, Philadelphia, where he and Mary were married. He also maintains ties to his parents’ church—Holy Communion, Memphis—where his and Mary’s son, William, now almost 4, was baptized. Joseph, Mary, and William enjoy exploring Nashville, especially its parks, with their dog, Rufus.
