Flower Arranging Class &
Luncheon with Lou Ann Brown,

floral designer who creates our
marvelous alter masterpieces
will teach a floral design class
in her home followed by a
luncheon. You will also take
home your creation in a vase.
Cost: $75/person. 4 spots

4. Multi-Course Tuscan Dinner
for 12 hosted by Ann and Gerry
Calhoun:
(Date TBA) Dine with the
Calhouns as they prepare an
elaborate feast of Tuscan food
and wine as recreated from their
travels to Tuscany. Cost:
$75/person. 4 spots remain.
5. Corkern, Adams and
Varney-Goetz Dinner Party:

Dave for a spectacular CCC
dinner party for 30 guests!

party to start off your summer.

End to Summer.
Hosted by the Shofner and
Landstreet families at the
Shofner Farm in Shelbyville Aug.

fabulous Frist exhibits. Value

Description for Shofner/Landstreet
Outing:
"Come to Storybook Farm in
Shelbyville, TN and savor the
last 24 hours of summer with
your young children and good
friends the way that summer
should be spent. Lots of outdoor
fun, board games, great food and
sleeping in a barn loft (in a
bed and you can bring your own
pillow.) Guests are invited to
arrive at the farm after church
on Sunday, August 31 a light
lunch will be served followed by
an afternoon of playing in the
dirt. Depending on weather we
will be swimming in the “pond”,
hiking in the woods or canoeing
the Duck River. While the adults
are ready to settle down before
dinner a group of teens will be
ready to entertain the younger
children with Arts and Crafts,
ping pong, story hour and a
scavenger hunt. Dinner will
feature a variety of locally
grown and harvested foods
prepared and served to please
even the most discerning palette
(or picky eaters) After dinner
we will hike up the hill for a
bonfire and s’mores. Monday
morning we will all awake to a
Labor free day and a fabulous
country breakfast followed by
all the fun we put off the day
before. (The Barn has 12 beds,
some doubles, some singles.)"

the Youth Classrooms in the
bottom floor of the 810 Building
right next door to church.

Youth Ministry

Ministry of Christ Church
Cathedral provides a loving
community that leads and
supports youth on their
Christian journeys and inspires
joyful service to God and
others.
We
are here to foster a place where students in grades seventh through
twelfth can come together to join
in a community of faith. We
provide a safe place to play hard,
as well as ask tough questions of
faith.
Christ Church Cathedral
Youth have six weekly small group Bible
Studies, monthly service projects, summer mission trips and
pilgrimages, alternative spring
break opportunities, retreats, and
fun events going on all the time!
