Description for Shofner/Landstreet Outing:   "Come to Storybook Farm in Shelbyville, TN and savor the last 24 hours of summer with your young children and good friends the way that summer should be spent. Lots of outdoor fun, board games, great food and sleeping in a barn loft (in a bed and you can bring your own pillow.)  Guests are invited to arrive at the farm after church on Sunday, August 31 a light lunch will be served followed by an afternoon of playing in the dirt. Depending on weather we will be swimming in the “pond”, hiking in the woods or canoeing the Duck River. While the adults are ready to settle down before dinner a group of teens will be ready to entertain the younger children with Arts and Crafts, ping pong, story hour and a scavenger hunt. Dinner will feature a variety of locally grown and harvested foods prepared and served to please even the most discerning palette (or picky eaters) After dinner we will hike up the hill for a bonfire and s’mores. Monday morning we will all awake to a Labor free day and a fabulous country breakfast followed by all the fun we put off the day before.  (The Barn has 12 beds, some doubles, some singles.)"
