CAFE CATHEDRAL @ JJ's MARKET:
STANDING OVATION FOR OUR YOUTH!

Music, Magic, & Missions
On the evening of November 21 at JJ’s Market on Broadway, 120 Cathedral youth, parishioners, clergy and friends nestled into the comfy coffee shop for two hours of pure entertainment by our talented youth (listed below) along with Caroline & Jeff Rossini, the Rappin’ Sextons, and our surprise guest Dean Kimbrough on the keyboard.
Of course, the night would not have been the same without the dynamic Masters of Ceremonies duo Ken Hinman and “Mini Me” (AKA Mark Pierce), who kept the evening flowing and who reminded the audience that every penny earned goes to the Youth Missions and Outreach programs. This summer, the proceeds will enable many youth to go on mission trips in Bolivia and here in the U.S. Our Outreach budget allows youth to do projects with many organizations such as Oasis, Matthew 25, Preston Taylor Ministries, RITI, St. Luke’s, Thistle Farms, and more.
Special thanks go to the co-chairs: Heather & Tommy Pierce and Elizabeth & David Fox. Applause for our invaluable sound team Gibson and Addison Prichard, to Ben Pierce for lights, Jesse Shofner for youth talent coordination, and to all of the amazing volunteers who brought food, sold tickets, greeted guests and lugged equipment.
Next time you go by JJ’s Market on 1912 Broadway, stop in and thank Sam, the owner, for opening his doors and providing a magical space for the event.
Our Talented Youth: Karina McGowin, Callie Jean Simmons, Jacob Schafer, Mary Blake Graves, Shelton Clark & Band, Jesse Shofner (with youth grad’ Tyler Wright), Noah Rice, Elizabeth Dossett, Ryan Barrick and his band, W8less
