March 4 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Dr. Melissa Snarr is a Christian Social Ethicist who focuses on the intersection of religion, social change and political ethics. She draws on various methodologies to understand how religion transforms the world. Dr. Snarr seeks to bridge the worlds of religious activists and academic ethicists to deepen the understanding of religious traditions and practices in order to enhance the work for justice. This will be a forum for a robust discussion on the Christian ethical response to the growing refugee crises in the United States and the world.
