Christian Formation

Christ Church Cathedral has a full range of religious formation classes that run primarily from September through May. Classes for adults are held on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and occasionally at weekend symposia. Children and Youth education are continuous throughout the school year. Special intergenerational events also take place during the year.

Youth classes are held on Sunday mornings, and EYC is held on Sunday afternoons. There are many fun activities for Youth. Youth also volunteer in many service opportunities, both locally and at Amistad Mission in Bolivia.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is the Sunday morning offering for children ages 3 through sixth grade. Throughout the year there are also independent, liturgically based, offerings made available to the children and to the parish as a whole. Advent wreath making begins the liturgical year and we end with an exciting time for all at Vacation Bible School in June.

The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Adult Training

Christ Church Cathedral is offering adult training in Level I, Level II, and Level III of The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. These formation courses will prepare participants to teach children in either Level I, Level II, or Level III, depending on the course that is chosen.
