Caroline Rossini, Youth Minister, 255-7729

Caroline grew up in Nashville, attending St. George's, where she also acted as youth intern under the leadership of our own Reverend Gene Manning. Caroline is a graduate of Harpeth Hall and Vanderbilt University. She also was a camp counselor at Camp Gailor-Maxon in Monteagle for three summers.

Monica Flynn Urness, Youth Programs Coordinator, 255-7729

2010 marks my 3rd year as Youth Programs Coordinator. Our church has experienced a lot over my short tenure but the never-changing focus by our Cathedral staff and all of the families is to treasure, encourage, support and pray for the Youth of our community.  It was not all hard work, by the way. We have had immense fun doing some pretty cool stuff and we were often helping our neighbors at the same time: Ice skating with 21 Preston Taylor kids (although I was assigned to hot chocolate duty), painting a St. Luke's house with 8th graders in the heat of summer,  running the obstacle course in the parking lot, Oasis YOP, and  jammin' to the Rappin' Sextons.

That is the joy of working with the 120+ Youth and parents-- amazing people who are living and energetic examples of God's love every day.  Peace and thanks!

Cameron Barr:  Youth Intern, 255-7729

I grew up in Lexington, North Carolina and graduated this spring from Davidson College, a small liberal arts school just north of Charlotte. This fall, I entered the Divinity School at Vanderbilt University, where I am preparing for ministry in the United Church of Christ. I enjoy biking, camping, Diet Coke, and coffee. I also adore all things Dolly Parton and Lady Gaga. (Appropriately perhaps, the girls in the senior class have already mocked me for my taste in music.)  In addition to teaching 12th grade Sunday school with Charlie and Lawrence Cook, I also help with EYC, YOP and some of the bible studies.
There are still many of you I have not met. But I will—soon! I will continue to reach out to students in high school and middle school this year and hope that I may be available to all young people and their families as a resource, friend, and spiritual partner.  Thank you for making me a part of this faithful community.  Cameron.s.barr@vanderbilt.edu
