To Work with Children age 3 - 6th grade

We request that each family choose one area to provide support to the program of spiritual formation for our children:

Willing volunteers are always needed to help in classrooms on Sunday morning on both a regular basis and occasionally.

Volunteers are needed to help monitor the door in the Annex on Sundays from 9:50 to 10:40.

Catechesis Training

Participants are trained in accordance with national guidelines. This training includes education on the moral development of the 3 - 6 year old child and an examination of the lessons presented to that age child. These lessons include liturgy, the Infancy Narratives, parables, geography, and baptism. This is excellent training for persons interested in working in the program; however, persons attending these classes are NOT required to teach. The class offers a rich experience for all.

SPECIAL EVENTS (All Ages)

Advent Event - This Sunday morning event includes advent wreath making other crafts and refreshments

Christmas Pageant and Supper - This Sunday evening event includes a child-friendly, come-in-your costume Christmas Pageant, with a supper afterwards.

Palm Sunday Event - This Sunday morning event includes palm cross making, Easter crafts, refreshments and a Passion Walk featuring various stops based on Jesus' last week on earth.

Vacation Bible School - Volunteers are needed to plan and implement Vacation Bible School for next summer.
