At the heart of our ministry is a responsibility to reach out to those facing a time of difficulty or crisis. Please contact us at 255-7729 if you or someone you know may benefit from our ministries. During business hours and on Sunday mornings, the receptionist will assist you, and in emergency situations after hours, a recording will tell you how to reach the priest on call.
The Stephen Ministry at Christ Church Cathedral is committed to providing a one-to-one helping ministry to parishioners and others who may benefit from intentional care and support. It is primarily a ministry of listening: to be with those who need emotional and spiritual support at difficult times in their lives. Some examples of situations in which Stephen Ministers have been involved include death and dying, illness, divorce, prolonged sadness/ depression, unemployment, loneliness, grief, and major life crisis.
Trained Stephen Ministers are ready to serve parishioners when needs are made known. If you are undergoing particular stress in your life and would like a Stephen Minister to assist you, please call 255-7729 and ask to speak to a priest.
